A TANZANIAN BLOGGER KRANTZ MWANTEPELE CHOSEN AMONG 50 IN RUSSIA

Krantz Mwantepele from the Mwanaharakati Mzalendo blog has been selected by the Russian government to be among 50 bloggers and social media influencers from around the world to visit the country before the tournament begins on June 14.

The Tanzanian and his colleagues will have the opportunity to visit all 5 stadiums, namely Krestovsky Stadium, Fisht Olympic Stadium, Cosco Arena, Pamona, and Ekaterinburg Arena. Krant, who is also the Secretary of the Tanzania Bloggers Network (TBN), said he applied for the opportunity through social media after being referred by his friends. “I am happy to be one of the 50 bloggers and social media influencers worldwide invited by the Russian government to cover the World Cup and various attractions in the country,” said Krant.

Krantz is being presented with the flag by the Executive Director of the Tanzania Tourism Board, Devotha Mdachi. The blogger was also praised by various stakeholders, including the government.
